John Legend is dedicated to helping his son Miles adjust to becoming an 'older brother' at the tender age of five, striving for 'normality.'

On June 10, the “All of Me” singer took to his official Instagram page to share a sweet photo of himself and Miles bowling together. In the snapshot, Legend held the camera and put his arm around his son while Miles held a bowling ball up all by himself and made a goofy face. The picture totally shows the resemblance between the two.

“Bowling buddies,” Legend affectionately wrote in the caption.

This special outing came a month after Miles celebrated his 5th birthday. Legend also made a heartwarming post for that occasion, sharing two photos of Miles looking adorable, plus another one of them smiling toward the camera together in true father-son spirit.

“Look who’s 5 today! Happy Birthday to Miles!” Legend captioned the post.

In other exciting news, Miles became a big brother for the first time when his mother, Chrissy Teigen, and Legend welcomed their newborn daughter, Esti this January. To celebrate the wonderful news, Teigen and Legend both posted a moving snapshot of Miles and his older sister, Luna, craddlng the baby and looking at her lovingly.

“She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens – the house is bustling and our family could not be happier 💕 Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes – we feel it all! X,” Teigen wrote in her caption.

“On Friday, we welcomed Esti Maxine Stephens to our family, and our house is overflowing with love and joy. I’m in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience and I’m so thrilled to see how Luna and Miles embrace their baby sister. I’m so, so grateful, but that doesn’t seem like a big enough word…,” Legend wrote in his post.

Esti has had an eventful first few months, as the Teigen-Legend family took a trip to Italy this Easter. Teigen took to her official Instagram page to rave about the vacation.

“Venezia! John and I first came here in 2007 when we were just a couple of crazy child-free kids!,” Teigen wrote. “It was the dead of winter, absolutely freezing cold and john fondly remembers my single faux urban outfitters fur hat that adorned me every day and night. we took the water bus everywhere and ran through the alleys, making out like a couple of doofuses in lurve who never would have thought we’d be back with babies of our own! well john probably knew.”
